Addressing Cold Chain Temperature Deviations
High-value pharmaceutical and perishable cargo can spoil if temperature thresholds are breached. IoT sensor networks offer real-time mitigation.
Temperature-sensitive shipments require strict thermal control. Conventional cold chain solutions only record temperature data upon arrival, meaning that if a refrigeration unit fails mid-transit, the entire shipment is spoiled before anyone notices.
Our solution involves integrating live IoT temperature sensors into every cold chain cargo container. These sensors continuously transmit temperature, humidity, and location data to our central monitoring system. If a deviation is detected, the system immediately alerts the driver and the nearest dispatch center, allowing them to inspect the refrigeration unit or reroute the cargo to a local cold storage facility before spoilage occurs.
